It is my pleasure to inform you about a new opportunity in the field of research ethics training. A new online research ethics training module has been specifically developed for South Africa based on South African Health Law and the official South African Research Ethics and Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
The module is certificate-generating and can be accessed on the Training and Resources in Research Ethics Evaluation (TRREE) website http://elearning.trree.org/. TRREE is an e-learning programme which aims to train users in ethics and regulation of health research involving human participants. You will find more information about the South African module in the attached document and on the TRREE website.
Development of the module was funded by a grant from the US National Institutes of Health Fogarty International Centre to the UKZN Medical Education Partnership Initiative (MEPI) grant number 1R24TW008863.
We look forward to your comments and suggestions about the module and we hope that you will encourage your students, staff and colleagues to register for the module.
